Come on Spring! I can feel you and I am ready for you! I woke up this morning to the birds chirping and a prefect 65 degrees. It got me so excited for warmer weather. I have been filling my home with spring flowers and buying pastel clothes for weeks! Now all I need is Mother Nature to cooperate.
Already this year I have been so drawn to spring blues. I’ve bought everything from a blue gingham coat to this bell sleeve blouse. But this skirt is one of my favorite spring additions so far! Maxi dresses and skirts are always necessary in the spring and summer. Is there anything better than a maxi skirt to keep you cool while still looking chic?! I can’t think of anything.
This skirt (under $100) has so many elements of style. The button detail down the front and the different direction of the stripe panels make the skirt very flattering. It is an A-line silhouette so highlighting the waste is always a good idea. Also, I am a firm believer that every dress or skirt should have pockets! It just makes sense!
I am always a fan of anything nautical. Blue and white is a classic combination especially for spring. There are so many pretty options surfacing now with beautiful blue hues. I have linked a few of my favorites below including this tie front shirting stripe.
Since it isn’t quite spring yet, I wanted to keep the look more transitional. I paired the skirt with my mock-neck tee, nude heels and my favorite spring bag. I can’t even apologize for how much I am showing this bag right now because I really am wearing it all of the time.
Is it warming up in your part of the world? I know we get warmer earlier here in Texas. I’m so ready for everything to start blooming again. Winter can be so gloomy. Hope you are all enjoying your week! Thanks for reading! xo Bryn

I love the skirt…wondering if it would look as good in a petite? In my next life I am going to be tall!

I think this is my new favorite!!! So in love with this skirt. Looks perfect paired with the blue turtleneck and that fab bag!!! I’m really ticked the weather is cold today, but glad it’ll be back in the 70’s tomorrow!
