I have talked about skincare quite a bit and have recently found a routine that really works. It has been a priority of mine to use more natural products. When I started reading more about all of the chemicals that are in makeup and skincare products I decided to be more conscious about what I use. For makeup I have a few brands that I have used over the years but Bare Minerals was my go-to for foundation since high school. I had been noticing by mid-day my skin was incredibly dry and flaky. So I started looking around for an alternative and read this post about RMS Beauty. I admit, I was #influenced.

RMS Beauty is all about providing women with an alternative to the chemical filled products that have been lining our beauty cabinets for years. RMS Beauty products are organic and non-toxic. But they really are so much more than that. But I’ll let them tell you about that here. So when I found out more about the brand I knew I wanted to try it.

I decided to order a few of the products as a trial run. It’s been around two months now since I started using these products and the changes in my skin have been very noticeable. For the first time in as long as I can remember my skin has a natural luminance. The biggest contributor to this glow is definitely the RMS Beauty Oil. It’s the last step in my routine before I apply my makeup. The smell is pretty strong but does absorb quickly but leaves my skin hydrated all day. There have been days where I’ve simply cleansed my skin and followed with the oil and my skin looks amazing.

The oil is a great base for the RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up which I use as an all-over foundation. The idea of using an oil as a primer worried me a bit especially when combined with an oil based foundation. I do think that I look a little shiny when I apply, but the RMS Beauty Tinted Un Powder helps with that. Just a quick couple of dabs and I’m left with a healthy glow!

I decided to purchase this RMS Beauty Signature Palette as a way to test out a few different products. It has two Lip2Cheek shades which I love. They are creamy with just the right amount of color for a lip shade and blush. I also use the bronzer as a natural contour. The Magic Luminizer is my favorite from this palette. It’s a subtle highlighter that gives you just the right amount of shine. I’ve noticed, with all of the products, that a little goes a long way.

The RMS Beauty Swift Shadow was a more recent purchase. I went with the Garden Rose shade because it’s close to my natural skin tone and perfect for everyday wear. It has good pigment and doesn’t clump.

Since I started using RMS Beauty I’ve seen a more natural and healthy appearance in my skin. The redness and irritation that I deal with have gotten so much better. The small fine lines that were starting to appear have also faded. Overall I feel more comfortable going out with little to no makeup on. I also feel better knowing that I am only using natural products on my skin. I can safely say that I am a true believer in this brand and I’m excited to continue to try more of the products.
