Hi Everyone!
I have decided to join the blogging world!
Blogging is something I have always been drawn to but I was too scared to try. My friends and family will tell you I am a very private person. I get uncomfortable being the center of attention (you should have seen the nerves right before I walked down the aisle… all those people watching!!) But at the same time, I love sharing my experiences.
Writing has always been a passion of mine (I get it from my dad… Hello, published author!!) It is so much easier for me to express myself through writing. There is something very therapeutic about telling a story and illustrating it for others to experience.
That’s why I finally took the leap and created Waketon Road.
Being creative is what makes life exciting! Think about how differently we look at the world now that things like Instagram and blogs exist. Floor tiles everywhere are suddenly reasons to stop and snap. Coffee and a crumbling scone are posted before being devoured. I think it helps us stop and appreciate the beauty around us.
We all want to be inspired!
Inspired to live life fully… or maybe just inspired to get out of bed this morning. Whatever it may be, that is the reason behind Waketon Road.
I don’t know what shape this adventure will take, and honestly that’s the exciting part! But, I hope that with each day and each post this will inspire you to do something new.
