It wouldn’t be Spring in Texas without bluebonnets!
This is my favorite time of year in Texas. We may not have snowcapped mountains, or white sandy beaches, but you better believe we have fields filled with beautiful bluebonnets. I love driving down the highway and seeing patches of blue flash by. Maybe it’s the stark contrast to the gray winter, but every year when the trees start to bloom and the grass starts to green I can feel myself getting excited!
With the weather warming up and the smell of spring in the air, I find myself making every excuse to be outside. This patch of bluebonnets is close to my home and was practically begging for an Easter weekend photo-op.
Over the years I have noticed how much my style changes depending on the time of year. In Spring I tend to gravitate to more soft and feminine looks that mirror the freshness of the season. This top from LOFT is one of my favorite pieces. I love the ruffle sleeves and the sweet eyelet pattern!
I paired it with this denim skirt but I also love it with these wide-leg jeans! The 70s flare are really making a comeback this season and I’m very happy about it.
I have been carrying this Old Navy reversible tote non-stop lately. It’s the perfect bag for holding all of the flowers that keep following me home from the store. (Seen on my Instagram here). Totes are my favorite style of bag because I never seem to have enough hands, so I need to be able to stuff my bag to the brim and toss it over my shoulder.
I hope you get a chance to be out in this gorgeous Spring weather this Easter! Thank you for reading!

You look beautiful and so do the bluebonnets!! And I am so impressed by the stunning photography. I noticed you are a new blogger (me too!) and I find the photography part quite challenging. It’s taking me forever to learn my way around Lightroom haha.
