Another weekend has come and gone and we’re ready for a fresh week! I feel like time is flying by. We’re almost a full week into February and I’m still trying to figure out what happened to 2016. It’s been a busy and productive year already but with that I’m trying to remember to slow down and enjoy it. On the weekends, I treat myself to a trip to the coffee shop. I don’t drink coffee during the week since I always prefer to start my day with a cup of tea, but I love the ambience of a coffee shop. It’s always so relaxing to find a comfy corner and enjoy a latte and good company.
I find myself more present in a coffee shop. I don’t get distracted being on my phone (although the wifi is always nice) or feel like I need to rush off. It’s my place to go either alone and relax or my time to spend with a good friend catching up. When hubby is home we always make a trip to one of our local coffee shops and spend the time together talking about the future.
My weekends lately have been full of errands so I have been living in my comfy-casual looks which usually involve jeans and stripes. This peplum stripe tee is the cutest! I love a dropped peplum top because its such a flattering silhouette. It comes in a few solid colors but I’ve never been able to say no to a striped shirt.
Ever since I got these cropped jeans I have not been able to get enough! I am completely in love with the cropped, straight-leg denim trend right now. It’s so chic on everyone and it shows off our cute shoes, what’s not to love?! These jeans have the let out hem which I can remember rocking in middle school andย I’m more than happy to see this back again. They are also on sale and available in most sizes (they fit true to size).
It wasn’t quite the spring weekend I was hoping for weather wise, so I’m still layering in my cozy sweaters. I am very ready for the warmer weather to arrive. My spring wardrobe is anxiously awaiting. Including all of my espadrilles! I live in this style during the spring. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have linked a couple similar styles at different price points below.
What do you do on the weekends to recharge? Are you a coffee or tea person? I’m always curious what people love to drink to start their day. Let me know in the comments below. Enjoy your week! Thanks for stopping by! xo Bryn
