This week we had our first signs of spring and I couldn’t be happier about it! After all of this rain that we’ve been getting, it makes me happy to see little blossoms opening up on all of the trees. I was so excited to get out and enjoy them after being sick last week. Brian got home a couple of days ago so we wasted no time in making our weekend plans. We spent our Sunday in Dallas starting with a stop at our favorite coffee shop, brunch at Dolce Riviera and finished with a dear friends’ baby shower.
Last week in this post I talked about wanting to be more conscious about how much I’m buying. I buy things that I love but when it comes time for my next event I typically go out and buy something else. It really doesn’t make sense and it’s a habit I want to quit. So for the month of March I’m challenging myself to only shop my closet.
Since things are starting to look more like spring in Dallas, I knew I wanted to wear one of my summer dresses. I love this black midi (last seen here). For me, it doesn’t matter what event you are going to, a black dress will always be appropriate. My friend is having a girl, so I added a little pop of pink with the shoes.
It feels so great to be able to spend time outside. We’re still dodging the rainstorms, but the temperature has been amazing. Hopefully it’s warming up wherever you are, too! xo Bryn
