Happy Friday, y’all! I missed last week’s Coffee Date since I was feeling under the weather. It took a week, but I’m feeling back to normal again. This week was also Brian’s first week home from work, which is always so nice. We live such different lives when he’s away at work, so it always feels like a wonderful reunion when he’s back home. This weekend we’re making our annual visit to the Dallas Arboretum. We try to go every year since it’s such a special place to us. We’ve been going since we started dating over 10 years ago, and it’s also where Brian proposed!

As I wrote about on Wednesday, it’s so important to pay attention to the things you are passionate about. There is a reason you are drawn to certain things. For me, I’m trying to take the pressure off of myself when it comes to my passions. I don’t want to feel like I “should” be doing things a certain way. Whatever you are passionate about, just spend a little time every day dedicated to pursuing what you love. I think being focused on the joy it brings you will go so far in making your passions an even bigger part of your life.

Currently Loving:

• I may be in my month of no shopping but after seeing this trench, I might have to break it. Look how cute it is on Lejla! It reminds me of this beauty that I’ve always loved.
• The new 3lau album is amazing! I have been listening to it non-stop! My favorite song is “Close.”
• If you haven’t tried RMS Beauty… I highly recommend it! I have been using it for a month now and can’t get over how much it has improved my skin.
• Totally obsessed with this look from Jenny. Living vicariously through her this Fashion Month.
• Allie is making me want visit Savannah right now!
