Hello, my name is Bryn and I am an Allbirds addict. You might have caught my recent review of my Allbirds Wool Runners that I fell instantly in love with. On the rare occasion that you put your foot into a shoe and it not only fits but feels amazing, you know you have found gold. This was the case with my first pair of Allbirds. I have been wearing them almost every day since I got them, and even work out in them.
A few weeks after I received these, Allbirds launched the Tree Runner. Did I need another pair? No. Did that stop me from ordering them the day of launch? Also no. I was so intrigued by the Tree Runner because they are made from eucalyptus tree fiber versus the merino wool of my other pair. While I love the wool runner because it keeps my feet warm in the winter, I was curious about the Tree Runner for the spring/summer.
The material is very light and definitely cooling. I prefer these over the Wool Runner when it comes to my workout shoes. The way they are constructed is slightly different from the Wool Runner. They are tighter across the top of your foot to hold their shape. Because of this I would still say that the Wool Runner is more comfortable, but don’t think that means these are uncomfortable. The Tree Runners are still extremely comfortable to wear.
For sizing I ordered different sizes for my two pairs. The Wool Runner runs a bit small so I purchased a 9, when my usual size is an 8.5. The Tree Runner runs larger so I was able to order an 8 and while it’s a little snug it fits!
Allbirds has quickly turned me into a sneakers girl. I used to only wear sneakers when I was working out, but they are now my go-to shoe. When you find a shoe that is really comfortable, you have to buy two, right? Next on my list is the adorable Tree Skipper. Xo Bryn

I have been wanting to try Allbirds for so long! I have SO many shoes that I’ve had a hard time convincing myself to order but I have heard too many great things I thinks it’s time to try them out!

When sneakers are versatile enough for everyday wear and for working out, you know it’s a winner!
